Daniel Nestor tribute recaps stellar career

Now that it’s really and truly over, and he’s taking BP with the Jays, a look back at Daniel Nestor’s career is in order.

The Canadian sports network Sportsnet put together a nice tribute.

Save a period in 2015 when Davis Cup partner Vasek Pospisil, in the wake of his Wimbledon title, reached the top 10 in doubles and passed him, Nestor has been the top-ranked Canadian in doubles almost interrupted for 20-plus years.

Monday, as his points from St. Petersburg dropped off and Peter Polansky reached a career high after winning the Columbus Challenger, Polansky is now the Canadian doubles No. 1.
