Roger Federer talks retirement

Insights from Roger Federer about how he has no game plan for his retirement, in an interview on ESPN.

“I wish I knew, because that would really help me with my planning for my family. But by taking it, sort of, six months by six months, we’re not thinking about retirement,” he said.

“Because I feel like the more I think about it, the more I talk about it, the closer I am to it.”

The best line, after Rennae Stubbs told him colleague Chris Evert was “really obsessed with you.”

“I heard that,” Federer said.
