Karen Khachanov is a daddy

It’s been quite the year for Karen Khachanov.

Not only did he break into the top 10 in the ATP Tour rankings for the first time, he also became a father Saturday.

A baby boy. Lots of congrats from his fellow players.

Khachanov and wife Veronika Shkliaeva were married in 2016, when Khachanov was just 20.

Even through the final days, Khachanov was practicing in Moscow with fellow Russians (and oh, hey, there’s Nikolay Davydenko again!) 

But you can see how he might have been distracted in New York.

Khachanov is the No. 2 seed in St. Petersburg this week.
