Adding the most accomplished Austrian to the team for some 20 weeks a year seemed like a perfect move for Austria’s Dominic Thiem.
So after the ATP Cup and the two rounds of the Australian Open, Thomas Muster is done.
“Well, nothing bad happened there. But we already said before we started the relationship that if it doesn’t work out, we’re gonna stop it,” Thiem said.
Muster, speaking to Eurosport, was somewhat cryptic.
If we noticed anything, it was that Muster did a whole lot more talking than Thiem seemed comfortable with.
