Reilly Opelka was the big winner in the four-man exhibition event put on by UTR and Tennis Channel Friday and Saturday at a private court in West Palm Beach. Fla.
It was supposed to be a three-day event. But the forecast for Sunday was lousy. And the abbreviated scoring system made it doable for the players to double up and get it finished by Saturday.
The other three competitors were Tommy Paul, Hubert Hurkacz and finalist Miomir Kecmanovic

Overall, they did a pretty good job with the social distancing efforts. Although nothing’s perfect.
And if there’s a takeaway, it’s that if “real” tennis begins and they get into their little competitive bubble, the muscle memory of how they’ve played tennis their entire lives may kick in, despite their best efforts.
But that appears a long way off, still.
