Yea, Rebecca! Not surprised Genie lost. Did not see her match against Yue Yuan, but saw the first set of her match against Abbie Myers. She did not look very good even though she won. She looked slow to react, & was lucky Myers made so many errors. Hopefully it was, as you said, a period of adjustment to her new New Balance shoes.
I think you saw correctly. I don’t think it’s the shoes, though.
