There won’t be the usual multimedia on Open Court from the Miami Open, given the fact that completely restricted access on-site – and, oh yeah, COVID-y Florida – means we won’t be on site this year.

But it’s been two years since the tournament unveiled a brand-new tournament site, having moved lock, stock and tennis balls from the beloved but aging location on Key Biscayne.

So much has changed on the Tour since then.

The players are back this week, for the first time in two years.

But back in 2019, 18-year-old Félix Auger-Aliassime made a tremendous run to the semifinals.

He came from the qualifying, too. And look at the roster of players he defeated. Not a gimme in the bunch.
