Third straight upset for Dan Evans in Monte-Carlo

So much for not being much of a clay-court guy.

Great Britain’s Dan Evans has beaten No. 13 Hubert Hurkacz, No. 1 Novak Djokovic and, on Friday, continued his mashing up of the seeds by defeating No. 11 seed David Goffin in straight sets.

He’ll play No. 4 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Monte-Carlo singles semifinals Saturday.

And he’ll also play in the doubles semis, with countryman Ken Skupski.
