Anett Kontaveit, who destroyed No. 2 seed Garbiñe Muguruza Friday in the quarterfinals, still had it all to play for in the Moscow semis against Marketa Vondrousova.
The Estonian still has a chance to qualify for the WTA Finals if she runs the table this week and next. And she got one step closer with the straight-sets win over Vondrousova.
