The final day of round-robin play had Ben Shelton playing for pride, and Jannik Sinner playing to continue his undefeated streak.
And Alexander Zverev and Félix Auger-Aliassime played to qualify for the semifinals, where they would face Carlos Alcaraz.
Auger-Aliassime defeated Zverev, easily, in New York at the US Open. But Zverev seems a lot healthier now. Even if Sinner took care of him easily earlier in the week. He didn’t have a great day; Auger-Aliassime had a pretty good one.
And the Canadian is in the semifinals.
