MELBOURNE, Australia – Félix Auger-Aliassime was attempting to reach his first Australian Open singles semi, to add to his semifinal at the US Open just last September.
But he faced a tall ask in the person of No. 2 seed (and top player in the AO draw), Daniil Medvedev.
Who also was the one who ended his run in New York. It was soooo close, but in the end the higher-ranked player prevailed.
