WIMBLEDON – Given the carnage of the entry list because so many top players are Russian or Belarussian (and thus banned), and the usual carnage once play begins, these are a couple of decent semifinals.

Any of these four winning Wimbledon is a great story in its own right, even if some of the storylines won’t advance the cause all that much.

But in this particular event, we’re kind of beyond that.
