MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

ATP Tour – Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 final results

Both Félix Auger-Aliassime (in his opener) and Denis Shapovalov (in his second match after beating Francisco Cerundolo in three sets Tuesday) were on Court 1 Wednesday, with a full slate of second-round matches.

Shapovalov went out in a tough one. Auger-Aliassime was down a set and 1-4, in serious trouble – and somehow pulled it out in a third-set tiebreak after about 3 1/2 hours.

The day included the return to action of Rafael Nadal. New Daddy Rafa went down in three and by the end, looked in pretty rough shape.
