And beyond that, 12 women’s singles qualifying matches on the outer courts as “Adelaide 2” gets under way

Practice courts will be at a premium, too.

Taylor Townsend plays her singles semifinal at noon. And then at the end of the afternoon she plays a first-round singles qualifying match against No. 1 seed Amanda Anisimova.
