MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

WTA Tour – Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 final results

Zhu Lin of China looked to build upon her great result at the Australian Open with a title in Hua Hin Sunday. And she did it – the first of her career.

She also was in the doubles final; everyone in either final in Hua Hin is unseeded.

In Lyon, hometown girl Caroline Garcia was also in the final – for the first time en su casa.

She played American Alycia Parks, whose booming serve serves her well indoors and is coming on strong in the last six months.

Garcia wanted it a little too much at home, and Parks was bold and took her opportunity to win the first WTA Tour title of her career, at age 22.
