Tuesday, it was the return of Nick Kyrgios.

(There was also the return of Venus Williams on the women’s side).

The latter two did not work out.

Canadian Denis Shapovalov made his grass-court debut against qualifier Marton Fucsovics. So no picnic as an opener, and indeed Fucsovics prevailed.
