Félix Auger-Aliassime took a wild card into the Mallorca Open, to get at least a little grass-court match play before Wimbledon. But he was a late scratch again. Instead, he played three matches at an exhibition outside London, and appeared to get a little better with each one.

Wimbledon qualifying takes place at Roehampton this week with Genie Bouchard, Katherine Sebov, Carol Zhao, Gabriel Diallo, Alejandro Tabilo and Vasek Pospisil entered in the draws. Only Carol Zhao was able to get through the three matches, and only Tabilo among the rest was able to win a match.

There are fewer Canadians in action this week, compared to the nearly 60 playing last week. But there are also fewer tournaments.

The biggest concentration of them is again in Santo Domingo, which on the men’s side is upgraded to a $25K this week (it was a $15K last week).
