But both made the date Sunday in Cincinnati for a final which was hands down the most anticipated matchup on the ATP Tour this year. And it delivered.

Alcaraz guaranteed himself the No. 1 seed at the US Open this week. But these matches are about a lot more than that.

And in Winston-Salem, which is a 48 draw and a great opportunity for players who didn’t make the cut for the US Open qualifying to try to pick up some points, the main draw also begins on Sunday.
