The ATP season is done – with the exception of this week’s Tour Finals (and then the Davis Cup final). So is the WTA season.

But that didn’t mean there isn’t plenty of action this week – on a number of fronts, from high level men’s Challengers to big ITFs and entry-level ones as well.

The centre of the Canucks This Week universe was the Drummondville Challenger, taking place about an hour outside of Montreal. The survivor was Liam Draxl, who got to the doubles final as did Alvin Nicolas Tudorica, at a $15K in Boca Raton.

The big winner is Can-American Carson Branstine, who went to Tunisia and played a pair of $15Ks the last couple of weeks. From qualies to the title in singles the first week, with a doubles title too. And then this past week, as a special exempt, she didn’t come close to even losing a set in backing up that result with another title.
