Jessica Pegula has needed a couple of third-set tiebreakers, but she reached the semifinals in Charleston.

The American is the No. 1 seed. But her third-set tiebreak luck ran out on Saturday.

In Bogota, the busy week continued for Marie Bouzkova, who eked out a quarterfinal singles win Friday, followed it with a quarterfinal doubles win, but found her semifinal doubles match (obviously) held over to Saturday.

She won her singles Saturday, but was edged out in doubles which prevented her from a having a triple-header.
