Open Court

MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend the Italian Open in person, it’s a place that’s full of life, and kids, and atmosphere.

And rain – at least last year.

There’s a very slow-moving little commuter train that goes down the main drag of the site, which is quite narrow but very long and is a good hike.

There are fans always gathering around the Pietrangeli court – and even looking down on it from the Centrale.

And fans looking for autographs from the players on the practice court.

And a tennis ball vending machine. And a few swimming pools.

And watch out for SPIDER CAM!!!

Here’s a look.

And here’s a photo gallery of the sights around the Foro Italico.
