So plenty of tennis on the other side of the world on this Monday, even if it’s all turned around because of the mid-week start and end to last week’s tournaments.

Denis Shapovalov, who played a Challenger in France last week, jetted to Shanghai to play the qualifying in Beijing (qualifying is not something he’s been willing to do often, even as his ranking has dropped).

Gabriel Diallo also is in the Beijing qualifying. Both got through on Monday.
