Zverev on the practice court in Montreal in August.
–
Quarterfinal time in Paris with the two young French rising stars out, but plenty of top players still in action.
Zverev v Tsitsipas was the 16th meeting between the two “sandwich generation” stars, with Tsitsipas holding a surprising 10-5 head-to-head.
That includes a straight-sets win a year ago in Paris in the third round, although Tsitsipas isn’t playing nearly as well at this stage as he was a year ago. On hard court, it’s 5-4 Tsitsipas. Make that 5-5 after this one.
(Paris is 5 hours ahead of EDT)
