He was already up to No. 66 in the live rankings and after beating Christopher O’Connell, can moved up three more spots.

In Metz, Andrey Rublev bailed after winning his first match (second round) as he’d qualified for Turin (officially: abdominal injury).

So that means Corentin Moutet got a free pass to the semifinals.
