MIAMI – Wild card Alexandra Eala, having shocked Ostapenko, Keys and Swiatek this week, was into the semifinals of the Miami Open. And her life would morph into something altogether different if she managed to make the final. She got close. But in the end, experience prevailed.

The men are at the quarterfinal stage, with No. 1 seed Alexander Zverev and No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz not part of the party. Which mean … opportunities galore. But Novak Djokovic has started to look vintage.
