MIAMI – The men’s singles semifinals and the women’s doubles semifinals were all that is on the sked in Miami on Friday.
The wind was definitely be a factor, in a way that it mostly hadn’t been throughout the last 10 days.
Novak Djokovic is looking in near-vintage form – at least, vintage enough that a depleted Grigor Dimitrov, who is 1-12 against Djokovic and hasn’t beaten him since fellow Miami semifinalist Jakub Mensik was seven years old – had a tough, tough time. Djokovic had the highest first-serve percentage of his career.
And Mensik, just 19, eked past Taylor Fritz in the other semifinal
(Miami is on ET).
