Everyone of the Canuckian variety is out of WImbledon, with the exception of the Cana-Kiwis, Dabrowski and Routliffe, who play their third-round women’s doubles match only on Monday.

But there was also the one Canadian in the juniors, Nadia Lagaev, who had a tough ask against the No. 12 seed in the girls’ singles on Sunday. She went out in two tight sets.

The astonishing Hsieh Su-Wei is in action in both women’s doubles and mixed. And won both.

(The feature pic is a throwback to … 2008, when the immortal mixed double pairing of Marcelo Melo and Alizé Cornet teamed up, if only for a short time. Both played Wimbledon this year – 17 years later – although Cornet, out of a brief retirement, lost in the singles qualifying).
