It will be the first match for Rybakina – at least in singles; she and Emma Raducanu pulled off a rather improbable win in doubles on Monday.

Other Canadian content is Cana-Kiwi Erin Routliffe, who is the No. 1 seed this week but playing with her bestie Asia Muhammad, not regular partner Gaby Dabrowski.
