Rain arrived in Toronto at the end of Saturday, which meant three qualifying matches still had to be completed.
That meant the draw is still incomplete, without the 16 qualifiers (and likely one lucky loser – in the end, two) still to be placed. But the schedule still had to come out.
So the players who WERE on the schedule Sunday had to wait to see who they’ll meet.
It all worked out in the end. And Vasek Pospisil said goodbye as Nicolas Arseneault said hello.
