Open Court

MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

ATP Tour – Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 final results

The last Canadian hope in singles took the court with a pretty monumental task on his hands: beating No. 2 seed Taylor Fritz on his best surface.

That said, he took him to the very limit in best-of-five at Wimbledon before Gabriel Diallo finally succumbed. This time, it was rather easier for the American.

But if you have a Grandstand ticket, you’re spoiled: Fils v Lehecka, and Mensik v Davidovich Fokina. Pretty good stuff.

(Toronto is on EDT).
