And while it’s good news that Nicolas Arseneault (by virtue of his ATP ranking) has been able to join Nadia Lagaev – who has been the only Canadian kid holding up the flag of the vaunted Canadian development program lately – in the juniors in the final Grand Slam tournament of the final year of his junior eligibility – the pickings remain slim.

On the seniors side, the Cana-Kiwis are in action, looking for a third-round slot. And they got it.

And Lagaev posted a nice first-round win in the junior singles.
