A reunion of sorts as Grand Slam champions Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova get back on the doubles court together, after ending their fruitful partnership that dated back to their junior days.
They played together in Paris at the Olympics last summer, losing to Andreeva and Shnaider in the quarterfinals. And in Prague just before that (winning the tournament).
Before that, it was the BJK Cup finals in 2023 after their final “team tournament”, the WTA Finals in Cancun.
(Well – they were; rain scuttled that plan and postponed it to Wednesday. Only Krejcikova’s singles match was completed).
