And No. 2 seed Lorenzo Musetti, who narrowly escaped a serious challenge from 40-year-old Stan Wawrinka, tries to keep his dream of Turin alive against the also capable Alexandre Muller.

Muller had a long one as well – he went three tiebreaks with Tomas Martin Etcheverry on Wednesday, clocking in at 3h04. Musetti went 2h25. So a quick turnaround for both, with Musetti playing the evening match starting well after 7 p.m.
