The rainy weather basically killed opening day at the Miami Open – which serendipitously is on a Sunday, not a Monday as it is at Indian Wells.

So all the matches (only a couple of which even got on court for a warmup) were postponed as the men’s qualifying began, and they added the bigger outside courts to the sked on Monday

There was rain in the forecast Monday, too. But beyond a few delays, they got everyting done.
