Blainville, Quebec’s Charlotte Robillard-Millette, who doesn’t turn 15 until January, won the 16-and-under division at the big Orange Bowl junior tournament Saturday.
Robillard-Millette, the No. 5 seed, defeated unseeded American Alexis Nelson 6-0, 1-6, 6-4.
She’s the third Canadian in a row to take the under-16 girls’ crown at the tournament, which takes place in Plantation, Fla.
In 2012, it was Gloria Liang.
In 2011, it was Erin Routliffe.
And in 2009, Gabriela Dabrowski won the big title – the under-18 girls’ singles crown.
