Groenefeld, Peschke debut new partners

The veteran team of Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Kveta Peschke qualified for the WTA Tour Finals in Singapore in October.

They reached the semifinals at Wimbledon, the final at the Rogers Cup in Toronto and won the WTA Tour event in Prague.

But as the 2018 season gets under way, they have teamed up with different partners.

Groenefeld, 32, has entered both Sydney and the Australian Open with American Raquel Atawo.

Peschke, 42, will also play those two events with an American – Nicole Melichar.

Was there drama? All will likely be revealed in due time.
