Wu Yibing and Sven Groeneveld team up

Longtime ATP and WTA Tour coach Sven Groeneveld has taken on a new project.

He’s working with 2017 US Open junior champion Wu Yibing.

Groeneveld told the 10SBalls website he’s collaborating with IMG Academy director Rohan Goetzke to put together the ideal team, as Wu takes on the pros.

Still 18, Wu had played just four events in 2018 until this week (three Challengers and an ATP) and won just one match. 

After working with Groeneveld in Florida for a month, they are debuting the new collaboration this week at a $25,000 Futures event in Shenzhen, China.
