More injury woes for Victoria Duval

As if fighting and beating Hodgkin’s lymphoma weren’t enough for one athlete to handle, American Victoria Duval has dealt with a host of injuries since her return.

And now, one more, as the 23-year-old will be out at least 6-10 weeks after knee surgery next Monday.

Duval announced on Twitter that she has a lateral meniscus tear and a bone bruise.

She has already had knee surgery, in early 2016. And she was out from mid-October 2018 to mid-June 2019 with a stress fracture in her left foot and a partial ligament tear in her right ankle.
