After Saturday was more or less washed out, the players had to come back and play both their semis and finals on Sunday.
After toiling more than 3 1/2 hours in his semifinal win over Alex de Minaur, Carlos Alcaraz showed few few effects in dispatching countryman Pablo Carreño Busta in the final.
In Belgrade, Novak Djokovic and Andrey Rublev, the top two seeds, clashed in the final. And in the end, the decade-older Djokovic, with so little match play, ended up running out of puff after what was an excellent week for him overall.

Thanks for a great tournament. We especially enjoyed the very entertaining ceremony at the end. It is always enlightening to see other cultural celebrations. More of that is totally appropriate and congratulations to Alcaraz and Busta on a wonderful sportsmanlike match.
