Houston was still being challenged to finish on time after three days of rain.

But in Marrakech and Estoril, everything was basically swimming at this point (pardon the pun).

No. 1 seed Casper Ruud was looking for a 250 title in Estoril and took on Miomir Kecmanovic, who was also in the doubles final. Ruud made it; Kecmanovic was 0-for-2 on the day but still a great week for him.

And in Houston, the men’s final was finally done just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday night. A miracle, really – and a credit to the players who stuffed a ton of tennis into the last two days.

(Houston is one hour behind EDT; Marrakech is four hours ahead, and Estoril is five hours ahead).
