ROLAND GARROS – The big guns most often practice on the big courts, which are only occasionally open to the fans.
But on Saturday, world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz hit Court 4 with Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic (sans Tomas Berdych), to the joy of the full house on the smaller court.
We noticed that he and his crew immediately moved the benches out from the spot rather too close to the stands, to give him a little space and now have the people right behind his back. Smart idea.
(We’re undecided about the new haircut, though).
Here’s what it looked like.
Also – why does Juan Carlos Ferrero never age? We want what he’s having.
(If you apprecate the behind-the-TV-screen coverage, you know what to do 😄. More clicks, more coverage – more often).
