RG ’24 – Day 8 men’s singles final results

ROLAND GARROS – Another meeting between Carlos Alcaraz and Félix Auger-Aliassime, for a spot in the quarterfinals.

The first three were won by the Canadian, each with a little bit of an asterisk, perhaps. But if you show up, you’re fit to play.

The last two – the last two years at Indian Wells – were defeats Auger-Aliassime would rather consign to the dustbin of history.

Beyond that, the night match between Jannik Sinner and French “bad boy” Corentin Moutet could be high entertainment.

Or not. We’ll have to tune in and see.
