BRISBANE, Australia – An initial look at the Italian Matteo Arnaldi on the practice courts in Brisbane a year ago resulted in a … retina-burning, yet somehow unforgettable look.
You remember it, right? I mean, who could forget, really.
The BEST part was that he was completely oblivious to the insanity of his chosen practice wear.
But in case you’d moved on, here’s a refresher.
A year on, it’s not ANY cooler in Brisbane.
But Arnaldi has clearly … evolved his fashion choices.
And on the practice court Monday morning, he remained shirtless. But the shorts selection was just a little more on the traditional side.
(Perhaps his move from le Coq Sportif to Emporio Armani/E7 to start 2025 has something to do with the change).
Here he was.
We’ll be here all week, for your fashion intel.
The new duds have been winners so far – Arnaldi straight-setted No. 7 seed and popular Aussie Alexei Popyrin Tuesday in the first round.
