Stefano Tsitsipas and Holger Rune hit it up on Tuesday – with Tsitsipas on an excellent roll, and the younger Rune trying to get there.

Neither had the 2024 season they wanted. But a deep run in the desert could really get things going.

There are also a few matches from the mixed-doubles invitational that will be in its second year, after a rather obscure debut in 2024. But mostly there was a lot of rain, which meant play went deep into the evening even if they got most of it done.
