Sinner got through his fourth-round match because of the uber-sad retirement of opponent Grigor Dimitrov, who led the match two sets to none.

But before that injury, Sinner had already had issues with his elbow looked at. And it’s unclear if he’s to practice Tuesday, with an MRI on the elbow scheduled.

Hopefully he makes the date – but more than that, that he’s fit to play against the hard-hitting Ben Shelton.
