Venus burglarized during US Open

It has not been a great summer and fall for Venus Williams off the court.

Last week, she gave her deposition in the civil lawsuit being brought against her by the estate of the man who died subsequent to a car accident she was involved in.

Now, the Palm Beach Gardens police released a report of a burglary at Williams’ Florida home that occurred during the US Open. 

An estimated $400,000 worth of valuables were stolen. A local TV station first reported the story.

On the (very) happy side, her sister Serena got married Thursday.
