
Until now, Sofia Kenin had always been dressed in the latest Nike.
As of Tuesday, she’s officially part of the Team FILA.
Hopefully they have red, white and blue gear for her. She may well see action in the Fed Cup final this weekend.
The Russian-born American, who turns 20 next week, was 14 when she won her first pro-level match. She only turned pro in September 2017, after reaching the US Open third round.
It worked out well. Kenin broke into the top 50 last week.
There are no players younger than she is ranked ahead of her.
