The 30-year-old Brit upset the 2019 Monte Carlo finalist, 6-3, 6-7 (11), 6-2 to move onto the second round at the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters.

They resumed Tuesday and after a hard-fought second set went to Lajovic, Evans closed it out.
Afterwards, he talked about clay, about Wimbledon, and about Medvedev’s positive test for COVID-19.
