Chilean-Canadian Alejandro Tabilo was the only Canadian of any stripe remaining in the Indian Wells qualifying. And he made it, beating the solid Evgeny Donskoy routinely.

Tabilo will face American Denis Kudla in a winnable first-round match, which will take place on Friday.
