Two all-too-real moments on the WTA Tour today.

Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska ook the court for her first-round singles singles match in Lyon. And more than three hours and two match points saved, she prevailed.

And in Monterrey, No. 1 seed Elina Svitolina was scheduled to play Russian Anastasia Potapova.

She posted on social media that unless the WTA removes all recognizable identification of country surrounding her Russian opponent, she will not play. So all eyes on that one.

They did, and she did. And won.
